What to include in a colorfastness equipment RFQ
A useful enquiry explains the exposure you need to assess and how your team will evaluate the result.
Name the exposure
Identify whether you need rubbing, washing, perspiration or another assessment. Include the current test method your customer or programme requires. Avoid requesting only a generic colourfastness machine.
Account for consumables
Check which fabrics, detergents, vessels and preparation tools are included. Consumable availability and replenishment can affect your ability to run the planned workflow.
Consider evaluation
Describe how specimens will be evaluated and recorded. Ask what additional equipment or controlled viewing conditions your chosen method requires.
Document the offer
Request the offered configuration, utility needs, installation scope, training and warranty terms in writing. Confirm shipping arrangements for your destination before accepting the quotation.
General purchasing guidance only. Refer to the current official test method and verified equipment documentation for technical decisions.
